This is 'Cube Hell' my first game project created in 6 weeks within my first year of study at Massey University. It was a solo dev project made in Unity and was my first game project.

Welcome to Cube Hell! A trial of combat awaits! Can you and Cubert fight through the enemies to make your way out of hell?
As my first project in Unity I spent a long time learning the systems of the engine. Figuring out what it can do and how to make use of everything I can. While I wasn't able to do everything, I was able to nail down some points that made learning further easier and more rewarding.
I was very ambitious at first, wanting to create a top down shooter that fast paced action and a interesting and comedic narrative with dialogue boxes and more. These are some of my concepts for levels, characters and more, most of it was scrapped because half way through development my files got corrupted and I had lost all of my work. But this taught me a valuable lesson with version control and backing up work
